I  believe my work is not as much a transient aesthetic, but more a resonating value drawn from balancing nature with it's evolution of color and tangible textures through a buddhist lens.  With an innate inspiration for nature and a drive to produce work that embodies that, one seems to stimulate the other.
Cognizance of my surroundings, musing the natural world and zen meditation have allowed me the chance to hone my craft, given the motivation is boundless.
My paintings though inspired by nature, do not emulate obvious landscapes as much as they illustrate an emotional response to innate designs found in various natural environments. In Robert Frost's poem "Design", Frost addresses the struggle humans have in finding order in the universe, and exposes our struggle to reconize order that is actually present in nature. I am challenged by Frost's musings and seek to create works that perpetuate nature's thought- provoking order.
