FIG  TREE  GALLERY
For many years I have been working to establish a world through my art in which my experiences (musical, socio-politcal) can make their own sort of logic. I seek connections between the past and present (time and space) using the mediums of collage, assemblage, paint, objects found and sussurations of poetry.

The work can and should be enigmatic,  mysterious, ambiguous and crystal clear, all in the same moment- like dreaming- and if epiphanies are found here they are grounded in myth and dream.

The references to common objects in the paintings represent to me the real mystery of art. There is a roadmap for this work underneath the backseat of your car. You can find the code by losing the remote control to your tv.

In the words of  the poet Kenneth Patchen-
" I charge you by the religion of poetry and art not to sneer at some things which seem strange to you, for I have burnt no house but my own and nobody will force you to warm yourself at it's heat."
